What the advantages of studying English in America?

These days, almost everyone is studying English. English is international language and useful to our future, so we must improve our English. There are many reasons why studying in America is important. These include having lots of opportunities to study English, learning correct English, and we can find a lot culture in America. By and large, studying in America is useful and efficient.

We have lots of opportunities to practice English. First at all, when you are hungry, you will go to restaurants. There are a variety of menus and foods. Above all, most of them are in English. If you don’t understand these words, you won’t be able to order anything. Second, you practice taking transportation. For example, when you take a bus day after day, you can find many traffic sign which are in English, and you can try to guess what means. It’s useful to improve your English. Finally, in the shopping mall, whatever you want they introduce them by English. If you want to buy something, you will need to understand what is introduced. It’s a good way to practice our English. For the purpose of improving our English, we can’t miss any opportunities to practice English.

Second, in America we can get correct English unlike in other countries. First, English is America’s mother language, so most people speak fluently. In addition, English teachers are more professional. They not only have good grammar but also understand the history of America. We must make the most of their teaching to improve our English. Second, books are an efficient tool to study English. There are many textbooks teaching you how to study English. Since English is their native language, it must be very detailed. For, therefore literary and non-literary books which involve vocabulary and grammar skills are useful for our reading. Studying reading books helps to improve our English. Finally, even though the America is the second largest country in the world, English is still the same state to state. If we travel from West to East, we can still get correct English. Generally speaking, after learning correct English, you will make great progress.

Finally, you can find lots of culture an America. First, most people would like to immigrate to the United States. This is why the United States needs international common language. Global English takes the roles of communicating with each other. That is to say that even if there are many cultures in the United Stated, they still communicate by using English. Second, the history of the America is bumpy. After independence on July, 4^th, the United States departed from a colony. Now we still can find some special vocabulary and place names which have pronunciation based on other countries. We do not only learn correct English but also the history of the United States. Finally, there are some special holidays, such as Halloween, Christmas and memorial days. We can see lots of activities and carnivals on holidays. Some holidays are only for the United States, and most people will have fun. Maybe we know these holidays, but we may not understand their origins. Hence, you can learn lots of things in American.

Why should we study in America? There are several reasons that we can get a lot of chance to practice our English and we can study correct English. Another one is that the culture of the United States can help us study English easily. Therefore, in my opinion, if you want to study English, the United States is the best choice.

what about your plans for the rest of the summer?

I think this summer I will very busy because I have a lot of things to do. Such as, finding another schools, going to an exhibition, and visiting with my parents. First, I will leave this school and transfer to another school. I want to find a school not only near my home but also cheap. If you want to transfer to another one,there are many thing needed to do. For example, an application, I-20, testing and so on. Second, my sister will have a booth in a exhibition in August so I will go there and help her. It's a good experience to me and I won't be absent. Finally, my parents will come here in August and on that moment we will have a trip. Maybe we will go to San Francisco or San Diego. Therefor, in this summer there are many plans waited to me and I hope I will enjoyable.

what about your experience at the Angel game?

This baseball game is interesting and enjoyable. First of all, most audiences who wore red clothes and red caps were cheer for the Angels team. It's very momentum that you can see the red color full of the stands. Maybe this is why they could win the game. Second, you could feel the sense of reality in the field. If you stay at home and watch the game, you can't feel the nervous ambiance of the game. When I sat in the stands, it's easy to enjoy the game and let you feel excited. Finally, you can find American very like to watch baseball game, even if they will work tomorrow. Most of them watched the game to the end. This is my first time to see the baseball game in America. I think I already have loved the baseball. I expect next game coming.

The movie is taking about an American man, Ian Miller, who falls in love with a Greek-American woman, Toula, whose family is a traditional Greek belief. From the movie, we can see the different culture between Greek and American. In Toula's family we can see male chauvinism and her father thinks the Greek must be married the Greek, so he doesn't agreed her daughter to get married with a American man. But Ian is willing to change his life pattern and accept the life habit of foreign culture and the reverent religious belief, and also willing to be blend friendly to Toula's family life style , indeed overcame all difficulties and gains her father's approval.

There are three kinds of love which are agape, eros, phileo in Greek. First of all, agape means "love" in modern day Greek. It's a on to under love. For example,the relationship between the God and the disciples. Second, eros means passionate love. For instance, the relations between husband and wife. This kind of love focus on the lovers and is willing at the cost of their lovers.
Finally, phileo means friendship. We should make friends true-hearted and help each others.

There are several reasons why global warming causes our life. First of all, sea level rise caused the land to reduced. For example, if the global warning continue, the Maldives will be flooded. The scientists predicted "that the Maldives will disappear in the century's end ." Second, the excessive greenhouse effect creates the greenhouse effect in the gas, what is most main is the carbon dioxide, the nitrous oxide, the methane, the fluorine chlorine carbide and the ozone. These pollutant are mainly combustion petrochemical raw material produce. Finally, because the ecology changed, it caused that the running water was not normal changing, and the transpiration rate increased, arid area's soil became drier. So we must find out solutions immediately. For example, planting trees, reducing emission carbon dioxide, and using renewable energy sources. We only have this one earth, so we must take care it carefully.

Although the weather had a little bit hot,I still felt very excited. There were many people in the beach and enjoyed the sunshine. In the afternoon, I played soccer,volleyball and Frisbee. It's total different that paying in the sand and in the ground. Because the sand is soft, we spent a lot of energy moving. After Frisbee , I was too fatigued to move. ALP was considerate of everyone and they prepared lots of drinks, fruits,cookies and hot-dogs that we can eat at any time and enjoy ourselves. Bill Gates is my hero for several reasons. I look up to him because he is smart, rich, and kind. First, Bill Gates is very smart. He invented the computer which helps people get a lot of information. Therefore, this world became more convenient. And it connects between country to country, let use know what happened right now. Second, he is very rich. I also want to become a rich person. Through hard work and correct plans, his company made a lot of money. Finally, he is kind. He often helps other people. In the Unite State , the Fourth of July is worthy of celebrating,and it declared that the Unite State would depart from crown colony on July 4, 1776 . Since the event , it became a independent country and American celebrate it every July 4 . This year is my first time to see the firework on July 4. It was started st 9 o'clock . When I arrived the place , there are already lots of people in there. Because the geography of the place is higher than other place, at the same time I can see another two firworks. Actually I didn't have special feeling about the number.It 's just a special number. In Taiwan , we think that number 6 is a luck number . If we choose 6,maybe we can get luck things. Oppositely, we also have ill-boding number which is number 4 , because the meaning of it's pronunciation is similar death. Most Chinese don't like the number. Coming back to the subject, on Saturday one good thing happened to me that my friend invite me to B.B.Q with her family. It's a nice experience.

Write about something that happened to you recently.

Last Friday, when I use msn message with my friends, one of my friends told my a surprised thing that my university friend had married last Thursday. She got married with his one of her friends grew up together. But it’s strangle that the guy was not her university boyfriend, they broke up after graduating. I just felt surprised why they can get married so fast . However I also wished them . And then , my friend also told me what happened in the wedding. First , they invited a song and dance ensemble to promote the wedding, but it’s a little bit sexy. Someone felt embarrassed . And then they have toast with everyone, when they walked around to their high school friends’ table. Their friends asked the guy drank with a high-heeled shoes of the bride. this is my first time to Knott's berry farm and it's a interesting and exciting place. First, we went to "Bigfoot Rapids" and there was a small boat that you can seat inside by the river around . there is a the fall of the river here, and you don't know when we will drop,
of course ,you can't avoid wet,but it's fine , the weather was so good .there are many exciting equipments. for example, Ghostrider,Silver Bullet,Sierra Sidewinder,Supreme Scream and Xcelerator. because i am afraid of high, some I didn't play. I thought the farm is worthy of going again.
